Sad News of a Stranger

I wrote  this last Thursday.  Sadly, that happened to be the last day there was an update to the Advent Calendar.  I just saw news today that Leslie Harpold, the creator of that lovely Advent Calendar, passed away over the weekend.

Reading through blogs like this and this and other posts today, its clear that there was a huge amount of people who admired her.  I can only say that I knew her through the Advent Calendar each year, which now appears to be such a small piece of the presence she had online.

Thoughts and prayers go out to her family.  Here's hoping that she's somewhere now creating new happy holiday memories.

oh, I was wondering why it wouldn't update!!! and then I saw a link saying we'll miss - but there was no info about her passing - wow. very weird timing.
