Enjoying right now: The last days of summer before I get the itch for autumn's crispness and coolness and warm colors. Sitting out on our deck with a book and a glass of wine.
Hating right now: Late summer humidity, bug bites, and not enough time to read all the books on my list
I haven't been writing much (or at all, maybe?) this summer because the husband and I have been doing quite a bit of traveling. It's been fun and we've been to some fantastic places, but there is much to be said about getting back home and relaxing in your own environment. I may have been on trips where I could relax looking at beautiful scenery or beautiful hotels, but there's something innately peaceful and restful about relaxing in your own home.
